About The Role

Headline: Construction Superintendent | ICI Projects | GTA & Ontario

Location: Ontario, Canada (On-site)

Job Type: Full-time

We are seeking a hands-on and proactive Construction Superintendent to lead the on-site execution of our diverse ICI (Industrial, Commercial, Institutional) construction projects. You will be the key leader on the ground, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

What You'll Do

• Oversee and coordinate all on-site construction activities, including the scheduling of subcontractors, consultants, and vendors.
• Read and interpret mechanical, electrical, structural, civil, and architectural drawings.
• Conduct daily site inspections to monitor work quality, safety compliance, and material usage.
• Maintain detailed daily logs of site activities, visitors, and resolved issues.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for on-site communication between the project team, clients, and officials.
• Identify and resolve problems swiftly to keep the project on its critical path.
• Travel between multiple job sites as required.

What You Bring

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent on ICI projects.
• Strong ability to read and understand all construction drawings and technical documentation.
• Proficiency with MS Project and/or Primavera P6 for scheduling.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and client management skills.
• A physical, hands-on approach with the ability to navigate active construction sites.
• A technical diploma or trade certification in a construction-related field is highly valued.
