Job summary

Job description

As a Construction Site Development Crew Member, you’ll work on-site performing excavation, pipe installation, grading, and soil compaction. You’ll operate heavy equipment, use hand tools, and ensure all work meets quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities
  • Move Dirt — Operate skid steers, loaders, and excavators or use hand tools to dig trenches, backfill, and grade surfaces.
  • Set Pipe — Install underground water, sewer, drainage, or other utility piping to proper grade and alignment.
  • Place and Pack — Backfill and compact soil around installed pipe to ensure stability and prevent settling.
  • Assist with site preparation, cleanup, and equipment maintenance.
  • Follow safety protocols and work efficiently with the team to meet project deadlines.
