Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of safety experience in the construction industry, focusing on high-rise construction.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and monitor site-specific safety plans and procedures.
  • Conduct regular site inspections, safety audits, and hazard assessments.
  • Ensure compliance with OH&S regulations and company safety policies.
  • Provide onboarding safety orientation and ongoing training to site staff and subcontractors.
  • Lead incident investigations and implement corrective and preventative measures.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date safety documentation and records.
  • Foster a strong safety culture and serve as a resource for all safety-related matters.
  • Coordinate with site supervisors, project managers, and external safety consultants.

Partner Staffing, on behalf of our Client, is seeking a proactive and experienced Construction Safety Officer to join our client's growing team and uphold their strong safety culture on site. Our client is a leading construction company based in Calgary, specializing in high-rise residential and commercial projects.


You will play a critical role in ensuring that all health and safety protocols are adhered to across their high-rise construction projects. The ideal candidate will hold a valid NCSO (National Construction Safety Officer) certification, possess advanced first aid training, and have proven experience in high-rise construction environments


Key Responsibilities


  • Develop, implement, and monitor site-specific safety plans and procedures
