Job description

Compensation: $80-85K /year (full-time / permanent)

On Side Restoration is looking for a Construction Department Manager to join our team! Reporting to the Operations Manager, Construction Department Managers oversee branch repair teams.

The Construction Manager is all about leading people, a history of working with repair scopes / processes and getting work done to keep clients satisfied. Overseeing all repair personnel, the Construction Manager must have superior knowledge of construction and the ability to build great teams and working relationships. The Construction Manager needs to be highly knowledgeable of all types of restoration and stay up to date on all health and safety standards.

What you Bring to the Team
  • Previous repair experience and applicable certification. A combination of experience and education will be evaluated
  • Previous leadership in the construction or restoration industry is preferred
  • Training abilities and a passion for helping teams get ‘it’ right the first time
  • Strong technical knowledge in finishing
  • Strong organizational and inventory management abilities
  • Excellent communicator with a natural, authentic rapport
  • Track record creating a lean and efficient team
  • Team player, self-motivated and goal oriented.
  • Ability to prioritize and meet tight timelines
  • Computer skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Clear criminal background check
  • Working knowledge of building codes
  • Enhanced critical thinking, decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Clear understanding of industry standards and new innovative building materials
