Aecon Civil leads major infrastructure projects in Canada and abroad. The Construction Manager will direct construction planning, scheduling and procurement for the Arctic Over the Horizon Radar Project, working with clients, unions, and internal teams to ensure safe, cost-effective delivery.
Ideal candidates have 15+ years in construction, P.Eng. or CET, strong leadership, and a proven ability to manage traffic, permitting and safety programs while coordinating across disciplines on site.

The Construction Manager is responsible for leading construction teams and coordinating project activities with stakeholders, and regulatory authorities. This role provides strategic direction in construction planning, scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and workforce allocation while ensuring compliance with safety, quality, labour relations, and training requirements. Working closely with clients, unions, and internal stakeholders. The Construction Manager plays a key role in delivering projects safely, efficiently, and successfully.
The Arctic Over the Horizon Radar Project is a major federal initiative led by Canada’s Department of National Defence, playing a critical role in strengthening national and continental defence.
As part of this program, Aecon’s Civil team is advancing Canada’s infrastructure through a strategic partnership with Pomerleau and Stantec. Delivered through a collaborative Integrated Project Delivery model, this project team is contributing to the design and construction of innovative infrastructure that will support one of the most advanced radar systems in North America.

Pay Range: $175,000 - 200,000
Individual pay is determined based on several factors, including work location, education, experience, unique skills and job conditions. Other considerations may include certifications, specialized training, and the complexity or scope of the role.
