Job summary

Compass Point Contracting Ltd is seeking a reliable Construction Laborer to support general site operations, civil construction, and carpentry projects across multiple job sites in Vancouver area. You will assist skilled tradespeople, maintain a safe, organized worksite, and perform a variety of labor-intensive tasks.

Prior construction experience is preferred, with a strong work ethic and commitment to quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction, civil work, or carpentry is preferred.
• Knowledge of construction tools, materials, and safe work practices.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
• Willingness to work overtime or weekends when required.
• Physically capable of performing demanding manual labor in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assist with general construction, civil, or carpentry projects.
• Prepare and maintain clean, safe, and organized job sites.
• Load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and equipment.
• Assist with concrete forming, pouring, and finishing.
• Support framing, formwork, and basic carpentry tasks.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Follow safety procedures including PPE.
