A leading engineering firm in Toronto is seeking a skilled Construction Inspector to oversee inspections for transit projects. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with contract specifications, preparing progress reports, and liaising with various stakeholders. As a skilled Construction Inspector, you will join our Rail and Transit department. You will be working from a dedicated project site in the Toronto area. Reporting to the Construction Site Manager, you will be responsible for inspection, examination, on-site work acceptance and preparation of reports for work progress on assigned construction contracts for a transit project. As the authorized representative of the client, you will ensure that construction work is performed in accordance with the contract plans and specifications, as well as with applicable codes and safety regulations.
