A local construction company in Surrey is looking for general laborers to perform various tasks including transporting materials, erecting scaffolding, and maintaining construction sites. No formal education is required, but experience is considered an asset. This position offers permanent employment with 40 hours of work per week.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload and transport construction materials.
• Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades.
• Mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt.
• Level earth to fine grade specifications.
• Clean and pile salvaged materials.
• Perform routine maintenance work.
• Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites.
• Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction.
• Direct traffic at or near construction sites.
