Job summary

White Eagle Homes Ltd in Edmonton, AB is seeking a Construction helper. The role is permanent, full-time, paying $20.00 hourly for a 40-hour week.

You will load, unload and transport materials, assist with the erection and dismantling of concrete forms, scaffolding, and related structures, and support heavy equipment operators on construction sites. Training will be provided; candidates must be able to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs), work in a fast-paced environment, and be reliable team players

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and transport construction materials.
• Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades.
• Mix, pour, and spread materials.
• Assist heavy equipment operators.
• Help with rock drilling and blasting on construction sites.
• Help with house framing, wall construction, and roof construction.
• Level earth to fine grade specifications.
• Pave and rake asphalt.
• Clean and stack salvaged materials.
• Remove rubble and debris from construction sites.
• Tend or feed construction machines or equipment.
• Direct traffic near construction sites.
