Northland Properties is seeking a General Labourer to support construction crews in Langley, BC. You will follow foreman instructions, use hand and power tools, and help meet project timelines.

You will load and unload materials, install prefabricated products, assemble scaffolding, and uphold safety standards. Strong teamwork and clear communication with supervisors are essential.

Competenze

• +2 years working experience in construction.
• Experience in carpentry, plumbing, electrical, drywall or tile is an asset.
• Strong safety awareness and ability to follow instructions.

Reporting to the foreman, our General labourer must ensure all work is completed in compliance with relevant safety regulations and company policies. They will follow project specifications and timelines, working efficiently and effectively to meet deadlines. Effective communication with supervisors and team members is essential to maintain high standards of quality and efficiency. Your duties will include the following:

Your Duties and Responsibilities:

• Utilize hand and power tools.
• Load and unload trucks with supplies and equipment.
• Install, repair and service interior or exterior prefabricated products.
• Assemble/dissemble and erect scaffolding.
• Support the growth and development of company culture and professionally represent Northland Properties
• Performs other duties as required

Requirements:

• +2 year of working experience in construction
• Experience in carpentry, plumbing, electrical, drywall or tile will be an asset

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to stand and/or be on their feet 8 hours/day working in outdoor weather and/or unregulated temperatures
• Must be able to lift 50lbs and use proper lifting techniques for heavy items weighing more than 25 kilograms
• Must be able to climb scaffoldings.
