Job summary

Petro Service Limited in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, is seeking a Construction Foreman to lead petroleum construction projects, ensuring safe, efficient installation of tanks, piping, and related equipment.

You will coordinate subcontractors, oversee testing and commissioning, maintain budgets, and ensure compliance with health and safety policies, while delivering quality workmanship across Saskatchewan and nearby provinces.

Qualifications

  • Licensed Petroleum Installer / PM2 or PM3 Certification (preferred).
  • Minimum 3 years of petroleum/fueling construction experience; basic electrical knowledge an asset.
  • Valid driver’s license with clean abstract.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment under tight deadlines.
  • Mechanically inclined and competent with tools and equipment.
  • Physically capable of demanding work; willing to work long shifts and extra hours.
  • Reliable, responsible, and customer-focused.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and oversee petroleum equipment installation projects, including tanks and piping.
  • Install, test, and commission petroleum equipment per regulatory standards and manufacturer guidelines.
  • Manage subcontractors for additional disciplines (electrical, excavation, concrete, civil).
  • Resolve construction issues, including scope changes and design challenges.
  • Monitor budgets, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with company health and safety policies.
  • Complete required documentation accurately and on time.
  • Perform manual tasks and work outdoors in varying conditions.
  • Travel as required (construction division covers Saskatchewan and adjoining provinces).

As a Construction Foreman, You Will
