Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and motivatedProject Coordinator
to support the planning and execution of engineering and construction projects. This role is essential in ensuring projects are deliveredon time, on budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.

Working closely with Project Managers, Engineers, and Field Supervisors, the Project Coordinator provides coordination, documentation, and communication support across all stages of a project — from mobilization through to closeout.

This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with experience in construction, restoration, or engineering consulting who thrives in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities
Project Coordination & Administration
  • Support Operations Manager with portfolio/project setup, scheduling, and execution.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and permits.
  • Track progress against milestones and provide updates to stakeholders.
  • Coordinate communication between site, office, and client teams.
  • Maintain accurate document control and version tracking.
Scheduling & Logistics
  • Develop, update, and monitor project schedules using MS Project or equivalent tools.
  • Assist with resource planning, subcontractor coordination, and equipment tracking.
  • Support field logistics including deliveries, mobilizations, and inspections.
  • Ensure all work aligns with project timelines and budget targets.
Financial & Commercial Support
  • Support the preparation of progress billings, purchase orders, and cost reports.
  • Track change orders, budget adjustments, and forecast updates.
  • Maintain transparency and control over project financial documentation.
Quality Assurance & Documentation
  • Assist with QA/QC documentation, closeout packages, and lessons-learned reports.
  • Coordinate completion of client handover materials
    (O&M manuals, warranty documentation).
  • Ensure compliance with company and client quality standards.
Client, Team & Stakeholder Communication
  • Serve as the central point of contact for project correspondence.
  • Schedule and document project meetings, distribute minutes and action items.
  • Support clear and timely communication between internal and external partners.
  • Represent the company professionally on all client interactions and site visits.
Qualifications & Experience
Education
  • Diploma or degree inEngineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related technical field.
  • Additional coursework or certifications inproject coordination, scheduling, or cost control considered an asset.
Experience
  • 3–7 years of experience inproject coordination within construction, engineering, or industrial services.
  • Exposure to restoration, utilities, or building systems projects preferred.
  • Experience supporting multi-disciplinary project teams and managing subcontractor deliverables.
Technical Skills
  • Proficiency inMicrosoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).
  • Familiarity withMS Project, Primavera, Procore, Buildertrend, or SAP.
  • Understanding ofproject financials, cost tracking, and change management processes.
  • Strong knowledge ofconstruction methods, codes, and safety practices.

Additional Requirements
  • ValidG-class driver’s licenseand ability to travel to project sites as required.
  • Eligible to work incontrolled or high-security environments (as applicable).
  • Ability to obtainsite access clearances (e.g., Controlled Goods, background checks).
