The successful candidate will oversee budgeting, financial processes, and foster relationships with stakeholders. Privately owned and operated, our client is a well established and profitable multi-business construction, heavy equipment rental and material and aggregates supplier.
Through it’s core construction activities the company provides construction services to municipal and private enterprises in the areas of sewer and water mains, road construction, excavations, commercial and residential site servicing, demolitions and winter road maintenance. It also provides underground utility and street light installation and maintenance services.
The company owns and operates a diverse and extensive fleet of vehicles and heavy construction equipment suited for projects of any size and complexity while also operating an aggregates business which supplies materials to landscapers and snow removal operators.
Headquartered in the Greater Toronto Area our client now seeks to bring on a Chief Financial Officer to position the company for it’s next chapter of growth.
The CFO shall provide financial guidance and counsel on all matters relating to the finance function including strategic business planning, budgeting and forecasting, business analysis, and corporate growth strategies.
Reporting to and partnering with the CEO, the CFO shall be focused on ensuring that the company’s financial systems, controls and processes are properly implemented to ensure the company’s goals, objectives and strategies are pursued and executed with discipline and operational efficiencies achieving best in class status.
