Talan is seeking a Senior IBP / S&OP Advisor in Montreal to lead maturity assessments, design future-state planning processes, and guide client teams through adoption of IBP tools. You will partner with Supply Chain, Finance, and Operations to deliver analytics-driven, executive-ready insights.

Role requires 5–8 years in IBP/S&OP with experience in SAP IBP, Kinaxis, o9 Solutions, or Anaplan; fluency in English and French, and a delivery-oriented consulting background.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in IBP, S&OP, or end-to-end supply chain planning.
• Deep knowledge of demand, supply, inventory, and integrated financial planning.
• Experience with SAP IBP, Kinaxis, o9 Solutions, or Anaplan.
• Experience in a consulting or client-facing environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Excellent communication in English and French.

Job Description

Reporting to the director ,the Senior IBP / S&OP Advisor is a member of the Strategy & Operational Consulting team. You will play a key role in supporting clients through their transformation programs by acting as an expert in IBP, S&OP process design, analytics, and planning technologies.

At Talan, the Senior IBP / S&OP Advisor leverages strong analytical skills, client focus, and structured thinking to elevate planning maturity. You will assess capabilities, design future-state processes, support advanced analytics, guide IBP technology deployments, and coach client teams through change and adoption. Your expertise in integrated planning and technology will help our clients achieve operational excellence.

Your mission consists of:

Se rapportant au directeur, le/la Conseiller(ère) senior IBP / S&OP est membre de l’équipe de Conseil stratégique et opérationnel . Vous jouerez un rôle clé dans l’accompagnement de nos clients à travers leurs programmes de transformation en planification intégrée, en intervenant comme expert(e) en S&OP, processus IBP, change management et technologies avancées de planification.

Chez Talan, le/la Conseiller(ère) senior IBP / S&OP mobilise ses capacités analytiques, son sens client et son leadership pour structurer, optimiser et élever la maturité des processus de planification. Vous contribuerez à définir les processus cibles, évaluer les capacités organisationnelles, soutenir les analyses avancées, accompagner l’implantation d’outils IBP et guider les équipes clientes dans l’adoption de nouvelles pratiques. Votre maîtrise des modèles S&OP, de la planification E2E et des solutions technologiques permettra à nos clients d’atteindre une excellence opérationnelle durable.

Votre mission consiste à :

Excellence opérationnelle

• Conduire des diagnostics de maturité, analyser les processus de planification (demande, approvisionnement, inventaire, finances intégrées) et formuler des recommandations pragmatiques.
• Structurer les cycles IBP, définir les rôles, gouvernances, mécanismes décisionnels et processus cibles.

Connaissance métier (Industry Knowledge)

• Concevoir et documenter les processus futurs selon les meilleures pratiques IBP/S&OP.
• Soutenir les analyses : prévisions, scénarios, capacités, modélisation et évaluation de risques.

Orientation client

• Animer des ateliers avec des parties prenantes multidisciplinaires (Supply Chain, Finance, Ventes, Opérations).
• Produire des présentations exécutives, livrables et analyses orientées décision.

Partage des connaissances

• Contribuer à la formation, au coaching des équipes clientes et à l’adoption des nouveaux processus et technologies.
• Participer au développement des méthodologies internes et aux initiatives de capitalisation des connaissances.

Qualifications

• Expertise technique : 5 à 8 ans d’expérience en IBP, S&OP ou planification de la chaîne d’approvisionnement (E2E).
• Expertise technique : Connaissance approfondie de la planification de la demande, de l’approvisionnement, de la gestion des stocks et de l’intégration financière.
• Expertise technique : Expérience avec au moins un outil avancé : SAP IBP, Kinaxis, o9 Solutions, Anaplan.
• Expérience sectorielle : Expérience en environnement conseil ou en rôle client-facing à forte intensité analytique.
• Réalisations technologiques : Analyse de données, modélisation de scénarios, développement de recommandations exécutives.
• Formation : Baccalauréat en chaîne d’approvisionnement, gestion, ingénierie ou domaine connexe.
• Communication: Avoir de bonnes aptitudes en communication orale et écrite, en français et en anglais afin notamment de communiquer avec une clientèle située partout en Amérique du Nord.
