Job summary

Ice River Sustainable Solutions is hiring a Shipping Forklift Operator in Canada. The role supports loading/unloading, inventory organization, and strict order accuracy while promoting a clean, safe, and collaborative warehouse environment.

We offer a wage of $22.28 per hour with a salary increase after 3 months, and a benefits package including life, health, and dental coverage, RRSP company match, uniforms, safety shoe allowance, and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Previous Forklift, shipping/receiving experience an asset.
• Ability to pay attention to detail and follow instructions.
• Demonstrate spirit of teamwork and collaboration with flexibility to adapt to various tasks.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment to load and unload goods from trucks and within the warehouse.
• Ensure the accuracy of orders by verifying product quantities, descriptions, and shipping details.
• Assist in the organization and management of inventory in the warehouse, including stacking and organizing products.
• Follow shipping procedures to ensure accuracy of product and inventory control.
• Remove all waste to energy and recycling throughout shift.
• Collaborate with the shipping team, warehouse staff, and supervisors to coordinate shipping activities and address any discrepancies or issues.
• Perform routine inspection checks on forklifts and report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist online as needed throughout the shift.

Responsabilités

• Utilisez en toute sécurité des chariots élévateurs, des transpalettes ou d'autres équipements de manutention pour charger et décharger les marchandises des camions et à l'intérieur de l'entrepôt.
• Assurez-vous de l'exactitude des commandes en vérifiant les quantités, descriptions et détails d'expédition des produits.
• Aider à l'organisation et à la gestion des stocks dans l'entrepôt, y compris l'empilement et l'organisation des produits.
• Suivez les procédures d'expédition pour assurer l'exactitude du contrôle des produits et des stocks.
• Éliminez tous les déchets en énergie et en recyclage tout au long du quart.
• Collaborez avec l'équipe d'expédition, le personnel de l'entrepôt et les superviseurs pour coordonner les activités d'expédition et régler toute écarture ou problème.

Formation/compétences/expérience Requises
