Concussion Therapist
Your impact

As a Lifemark Concussion Physiotherapist, you'll be a vital member of a multidisciplinary team, providing specialized assessment and rehabilitation for individuals recovering from concussions and related conditions. You'll support patients through every stage of their recovery, helping them manage symptoms, restore function, and safely return to work, sport, school, and everyday activities.

More than a care provider, you'll be an educator, motivator, and problem-solver-meeting patients where they are in their recovery journey and delivering evidence-informed, patient-centered concussion care.

In this role, you will:

  • Develop individualized, evidence-informed concussion rehabilitation plans based on each patient’s symptoms, functional limitations, and recovery goals.
  • Assess and treat concussion-related impairments, which may include vestibular, balance, cervical, headache, visual/oculomotor, and exercise-tolerance concerns, within your training and scope of practice.
  • Support safe, progressive return-to-work, return-to-school, return-to-sport, and daily activity planning.
  • Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate comprehensive concussion care and achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Educate patients and their families on concussion recovery, symptom management, pacing, prevention, and self-management strategies.
  • Stay current with evolving concussion research, clinical guidelines, and best practices through ongoing professional development.
  • Utilize modern tools, including e-charting and digital communication, to support efficient documentation and continuity of care.
  • Partner with therapy assistants, kinesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to maximize clinical impact.
  • Contribute to mentorship and clinical leadership opportunities, as assigned.
Are you the right fit?

We're seeking a compassionate clinician who leads with empathy and integrity. A great listener, a clear communicator, and someone who seeks to understand what motivates our patients to guide how to personalize a plan of care to meet their needs. Above all, you are driven to grow – both professionally and personally. Key skills and qualifications include:

  • Concussion trained Physiotherapist
  • A ctive license in good standing with your provincial regulatory college.
  • Professional liability insurance (as required).
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and a patient-first mindset.
  • Enthusiasm for mentoring, participating in clinic events, and sharing knowledge.
  • 1-2+ years of outpatient clinic experience (preferred; new grads with provisional licenses are encouraged to apply!).
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
