Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum undergraduate degree in a human services field.
• Registration in a professional college is an asset.
• Alternative combinations of education and experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual counselling to clients.
• Perform case management and documentation.
• Facilitate group counselling and teach classes as needed.
• Develop treatment plans based on client-centered goals.
• Maintain electronic client files in EMHware.
• Coordinate with shelter staff and external agencies.
• Crisis and conflict intervention as required.
• Discharge planning and after-care follow-up.
