TASKS YOU WILL ACCOMPLISH

Our employees work together to evolve mobility worldwide - one good idea at a time. If you have a good idea, we’ll provide the environment where it will thrive and grow into a great product or customer experience. Your ideas are our fuel.

The CLaws team is responsible for the design, development, testing and certification of the Fly-by-Wire (FBW) flight control laws for the next generation of aircraft. The CLaws provide a means to manage the aircraft response due to pilot inputs, to reduce pilot workload and to meet the handling quality and performance/structural loads requirements along with providing additional flight and structural envelope protections.

What are your contributions to the team?

  • Write requirements for existing experimental model-based CLaws to meet functional requirements and in accordance to the DO-178B standard and SAE ARP 4754.
  • Perform CLaws validation and verification (V&V) for a new experimental primary flight computer.
  • If needed, update the Claws design model as well as the corresponding assessment tools using Matlab and C++ programming.
