Position Summary

Are you a registered Computer Tomography (CT) Technologist looking to highlight your knowledge, skills, and abilities in a new and dynamic environment? We currently have an opportunity for you to bring your excellent work ethic to our Computer Tomography department. In accordance with established vision and values of the organization, the position promotes a safe environment for patients, residents, families, visitors and staff. Reporting to the Chief Technologist or Manager, and under the direction of a Radiologist, performs computer tomography (CT) procedures. Assists the Radiologists during procedure, inputs patient specific data into the Radiology Information System (RIS) PACS and provides direction regarding procedures to student technologists and staff trainees.

Shift Rotation/Hours of work

Days, Evenings, Nights - 06:00 to 18:00, 07:00 to 19:00, 12:00 to 00:00, 19:00 to 07:00, Rotating

Ksyen Regional Hospital

The new Ksyen Regional Hospital welcomed its first patients on November 24, 2024. More than double the size of the previous hospital, the facility features 82 beds, private rooms, and is a centre for trauma services, orthopedic surgeries, pathology, radiology, clinical support, and pharmacy services. The hospital is also a training site for medical students in the Northern Medical Program.

Terrace

Qualfications

• Graduate of an accredited medical radiography program plus successful completion of a recognized program for Computer Tomography. Two (2) years recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Current certification with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT). Eligible for membership with the BC Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (BCAMRT) and/or CAMRT.
