Toronto French School (TFS) seeks a Computer Science Teacher / Enseignant-e de Technologie for the 2027-2028 year at the Toronto campus. This full-time position requires delivering curriculum in French with strong English skills, and joining a collaborative senior school team.

Salary follows the TFS teaching grid (Levels D–G) with a range from 66,016 to 138,321 CAD, depending on training and experience. Applicants should hold OCT certification, a B.Ed./M.Ed., and be able to teach in French;

Qualifications

• Excellent French and English skills (oral and written).
• Certified teacher with OCT or equivalent and a degree in education (B.Ed. or M.Ed.).
• Ability to teach in French (native language); English conversation level B2.
• Strong knowledge of the French curriculum.
• Experience as a Computer Science teacher.
• Knowledge of IB and Ontarian programs would be an asset.
• Teacher certification by the French Ministry of Education would be an asset.

Salary Range: Teachers at TFS are members of the Alliance des enseignants de la Toronto French School union. Salaries are determined according to a structured grid that considers years of teacher-training (college or university) and professional experience.

We have four salary levels (from D to G), each with its own minimum and maximum range:

• Level D: from $66,016 to $109,105
• Level E: from $68,064 to $115,414
• Level F: from $75,023 to $134,978
• Level G: from $78,299 to $138,321

La position

Sous La Supervision Du – De La Principal-e Et/ou De Son-sa Délégué-e (et En Collaboration Avec Les Enseignants-es Et Les Enseignants-es-ressources) Cette Personne Sera Responsable De

• L'objectif principal sera de créer un environnement d'apprentissage favorable qui aidera les élèves à atteindre leurs objectifs d'apprentissage
• Comprendre clairement les différents besoins de tous les groupes d'étudiants.
• Utiliser le matériel d'étude et les ressources appropriés qui favorisent l'apprentissage actif et motivent les étudiants
• Superviser leurs progrès en suivant leurs travaux, afin de leur fournir un retour d'information utile.
• Planifier le matériel et les activités de cours
• Établir des relations de confiance avec les élèves, les parents et les autres membres du personnel.

La personne que nous cherchons

Nous Recrutons Des Candidats Qui Mettent En Évidence Nos Valeurs D’intégrité, De Discernement, De Respect Et D’engagement. Le Profil Idéal Est Le Suivant

• Maîtrise parfaite du français et de l’anglais (parlé et écrit)
• Être titulaire d’un diplôme d’enseignant
• Doit pouvoir enseigner en français (niveau équivalent à langue maternelle), doit pouvoir converser en anglais (niveau B2 minimum)
• De bonnes connaissances du curriculum français
• Expérience en tant que professeur de Technologie
• Une connaissance des programmes d’enseignement ontarien et du baccalauréat international (BI) serait un avantage
• Un diplôme d’enseignant par le Ministère de l’éducation nationale de France serait aussi un sérieux atout
