- 6 years of research experience in fusion plasma physics.
- Familiarity with toroidal plasmas and software engineering processes.
- Experience with implementing parallel algorithms.
Responsibilities
- Conceive and deliver research projects for General Fusion's technology.
- Respond to engineering challenges and collaborate with external researchers.
- Publish peer-reviewed computational plasma physics publications.
Skills
Fluency in fundamental plasma physics theory
Experience in implementing numerical algorithms for PDEs
Scientific computing (including Python)
Demonstrated scientific writing ability
Experience in international collaborative scientific research
Education
Ph.D. in Physics or adjacent field
