Job summary

NEUF architectes in Montreal is seeking a Junior Accountant to join its growing accounting team. You will work alongside the Assistant Director – Accounting and Operations, handling day-to-day financial operations and month-end close while supporting the ERP implementation of Deltek Vantagepoint.

Requirements include a accounting degree and at least five years in a similar role, with strong Excel skills and experience in multi-company project accounting.

Qualifications

• DEP, DEC, or Bachelor's degree in accounting.
• 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Proficient in advanced Excel tools and functions (e.g., VLOOKUP, SUMIF, SORT, Pivot Tables).
• Experience with ERP systems (Deltek Vantagepoint) and reporting tools like Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Perform project-based accounting in a multi-company environment (60%).
• Collect and prepare invoices, including validation and assignment to projects.
• Manage accounts payable, prepare invoices, and process payments.
• Diligently validate timesheets.
• Prepare bank reconciliations.
• Reconcile credit card expenses and expense accounts.
• Contribute to the application of internal control procedures and collaborate on their improvement.

YOUR ROLE

Do youwant to apply your accounting expertise in a stimulating environment andactively contribute to improving workflows and processes? NEUF is looking for aJunior Accountant to join its Montreal team.

Workingdirectly with the Assistant Director – Accounting and Operations, you will playan active role in daily financial operations and month-end processes, acting asa key figure in the accounting cycle of a growing company. Additionally, youwill support the accounting team by participating in the implementation of thenew ERP system (Deltek Vantagepoint).
