Job description
Meaningful work you’ll be part of

As a Compensation Senior Associate, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Manages the annual compensation survey cycle as an owner of the survey submission process and maintaining the relationship with various survey vendors
  • Acting as an internal consultant, leverages compensation subject matter expertise to provide timely analysis, recommendations, and program information to HC colleagues and the business
  • Conducts job evaluations and provides ad hoc market pricing analysis and salary recommendations
  • Plays a key role in year-end analysis, modeling, and administration as it relates to salary and short‑term incentives
  • Leverages data visualization tools to develop and present in‑depth dashboards to support HC teams and internal clients
  • Assists with maintenance of internal salary structures and firm's compliance with Ontario and Quebec Pay Equity legislation
  • Develops, implements, and supports appropriate solutions (processes and tools) with general guidance and assessment of program effectiveness
  • Monitors Service Now internal ticketing system and handles complex compensation inquiries
  • Provides day‑to‑day consultation and support to HC and their internal clients on implementation and interpretation of compensation policies, internal communications, and processes in support of business unit requirements
  • In partnership with IT and the broader Human Capital Team, manages Compensation related configurations within Workday
Experiences and skills you’ll use to solve
  • Strong knowledge of compensation practices and theory
  • Post‑secondary degree in business, human resources, finance, or a related field
  • Completion or progress toward CCP or CHRP designation is an asset
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required with strong data management knowledge and experience with data analytics/visualization software (e.g. Alteryx, PowerBI)
  • Experience with Workday Core Compensation and Advanced Compensation is an asset
  • Experience working with a point factor job evaluation method
  • Knowledge in Ontario and Quebec Pay Equity is an asset
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and financial modeling skills, with an eye for detail and accuracy
  • Ability to build relationships as a trusted partner with internal clients and external vendors
  • Strong project and time management skills and proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast‑paced, high‑performance environment
