North Waterloo Vet Hospital in Elmira, Ontario is seeking a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to join a small companion animal practice that values care, communication and collaboration. You will support veterinarians across medical, surgical and dental cases while maintaining high standards of client service.

The ideal candidate has VTNE eligibility, is in good standing with the provincial association, and has completed a 2-3 year Canadian veterinary technology diploma.

Qualifications

• Must have passed VTNE or be eligible to write VTNE.
• In good standing with the provincial regulatory association.
• Completed a 2- or 3-year accredited Canadian Veterinary or Animal Health Technology Diploma.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Veterinarian with medical, surgical and dental procedures.
• Prepare patients, instruments and equipment for surgery.
• Administer and monitor medicines under the Veterinarian's direction.
• Provide exceptional customer service and client communication.
