Qualifications

  • Ability to lift 18 kg (40lbs) and control 45 kg (100lbs)
  • Valid G driver's license with clear driver's abstract
  • Previous clerical training is an asset
  • Animal care experience preferred

Opportunity

We are seeking an experiencedReceptionist for our fast-paced clinic. The ideal candidate is intrinsically motivated, knowing their important part in giving back to the communities that we serve. As the first point of contact for our clients, both human and furry, customer service and superior administrative skills are the foundation for this role.

A Typical Day

  • Greeting clients and providing pre/post op care instructions
  • Booking appointments
  • Performing general administrative duties
  • Assisting in the clinic as needed
  • Providing basic animal care duties
  • Maintaining the cleanliness of the clinic

Set Up for Success!

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Team player
  • Ability to lift 18 kg (40lbs) and control 45 kg (100lbs)
  • Valid G drivers’ licence with the ability to provide a clear driver’s abstract
  • Open daytime availability including weekdays and weekends
  • High School Diploma (or equivalent) required
  • Previous clerical training and an asset
  • Customer service experience an asset
  • Animal care experience preferred
