Qualifications

• Graduate of Personal Support Worker Certificate/Diploma Program.
• Vocational standards established by the Ministry of Training, Colleges, and Universities.
• Standards established by the National Association of Career Colleges.
• Standards established by the Ontario Community Support Association.

Responsibilities

• Monitor care given to residents according to care plans.
• Document information pertaining to resident care.
• Participate in in-service education sessions and staff meetings.
• Assist in onboarding new staff.
• Follow Infection Prevention and Control policies.
