Qualifications

• Current First Aid and CPR level C Certification.
• Reliable personal vehicle and valid driver’s license.

• Provide high quality support services that enable clients to live independently.
• Assist clients with daily living activities as required.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Knowledge of issues concerning physical disabilities

Highly organized and excellent time management skills

Demonstrated client service focus

Demonstrated conflict resolution and problem-solving skills

Knowledge of behaviour management principles

Knowledge of relevant health & safety legislation

Comfortable using related equipment including technology

Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect privacy laws

Strong ethical standards and understanding of professional boundaries

Education

Personal Support Worker Certification, RN, RPN, DSW or 3000 hours work experience
