Responsibilities

• Provide clothing and linen support, including collection, processing and inventory of linens.
• Sort, load/unload washers and dryers, iron and mend as needed.
• Fold, sort and load linen/clothing onto carts for distribution and auditing.
• Discard and record inappropriate inventory as required.
• Maintain sanitation standards and infection control in the laundry area.
• Observe machines and report any malfunctions to team leader.
• Assist in maintaining laundry facilities, equipment and supplies.
• Perform cleaning duties outlined for the laundry area and keep environment safe.
• Contribute to quality initiatives by providing input for improvements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
