Job summary

Sienna Senior Living is hiring a Housekeeping Aide at Ridgeview Lodge in Kamloops, BC. In this role you will maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, building relationships and supporting daily living with compassion.

You'll work as part of the Long Term Care team in a fast-paced setting, performing thorough cleaning, sanitizing rooms and common areas, and helping preserve residents’ privacy and dignity every day.

Qualifications

• Secondary school graduate or approved equivalent.
• You must be legally eligible to work in Canada or have a valid work/study permit.
• You must successfully pass a Vulnerable Sector Check.
• Sienna Senior Living may utilize artificial intelligence to screen and assess applicants for this position.

Responsibilities

• Provide Thorough Cleaning.
• Provide excellent cleaning and sanitizing of the residents’ rooms as well as the common areas in the community.
• Ensure the supplies are suitable and the equipment is in proper working order.
• Deliver the cleaning in a positive and professional manner.
• Provide Resident Privacy and Room Preparation.
• Ensure residents' privacy is respected.
• Prepare rooms for new Residents ensuring they are clean, sanitized, and welcoming.
