Job summary

VON Canada is seeking a Personal Support Worker to provide person-centred home care across clients’ residences in the community. You will support daily living activities, mobility, and meal preparation while contributing to care plans and safety in the home.

Travel between client homes is common; a valid driver’s license and own vehicle are required. Competitive benefits, orientation, and ongoing development are offered.

Qualifications

• PSW certification required or nursing student nearing completion.
• Must have a current Standard First Aid or CPR level C where applicable.
• Valid driver's license and access to personal vehicle.
• Criminal Records Check in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to clients in their homes.
• Assist with daily living and mobility.
• Support care plans and meal preparation.
• Perform light housekeeping as needed and monitor home safety.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams and provide respite to families.
