Job summary

Nurse Next Door in Mississauga is hiring compassionate caregivers to provide in-home care to private clients. The role focuses on meal prep, light housekeeping, companionship, and personal care in alignment with each client's care plan.

A valid Canadian work status, 1 year of caregiving experience, English fluency, criminal record check, and a minimum of two Covid-19 vaccines are required. Flexible hours include days, evenings, weekends, with at least 15 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• 1 year of Canadian caregiving experience.
• Must be fluent in English (written and verbal).
• Criminal Record Check.
• At least 2 Covid-19 vaccines.
• Must be able to legally work in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Provide meal preparation, light housekeeping, and/or provide companionship, personal care and support with ADL’s
• Execute on the client’s care plan as outlined by the Care Designer
• Meet the safety needs of the client and use equipment safely and properly
• Function within the limits of your own experience and knowledge, while practicing safely and competently within the job description
• Complete records and documentation accurately and thoroughly
• Service in the city of Mississauga only
• Looking for a variety of availability (days, evenings, weekends and overnights) however, must be available at least 15 hours per week. Care is provided in-home with private clients.
