Job summary

CBI Health seeks an Occupational Therapist to join the Community Rehabilitation Services team in Victoria, BC. This full-time, community-based role involves visiting clients at home, workplace, and in the community to support independence and return-to-work goals.

You’ll work directly with clients in locations that matter most—home, work, and community—using your clinical expertise to overcome barriers and promote meaningful daily activities. Signing bonus is included.

Qualifications

• Strong clinical reasoning, assessment and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a community-based caseload.
• A valid driver’s licence and reliable access to a vehicle.
• Experience in community rehabilitation, return-to-work, vocational rehab, mental health, chronic pain, concussion, neurological or musculoskeletal rehab is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Assess client homes and workplaces to identify barriers and plan independence improvements.
• Support return-to-work strategies and client participation in daily activities in community settings.
• Complete clinical documentation and coordinate with case managers, physicians and employers.
• Visit clients at their workplace to assess job demands and develop safe, sustainable return-to-work plans.
• Provide ongoing education and adjust rehabilitation plans as client needs change.
