Interior Health in the North Okanagan region is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a term-specific, full‑time role within the Connected Care at Home Pilot, serving Vernon, Armstrong, Enderby, and Cherryville. A valid BC driver’s license and vehicle are required.

The OT will work independently and with a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team across inpatient, outpatient, residential, and community settings, performing assessments, planning individualized treatments, implementing therapy

Qualifikationen

• Graduation from a recognized occupational therapy program.
• Full practicing licensee as an Occupational Therapist with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC (CHCPBC). Eligible for membership in the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists.
• Valid BC Driver’s license.
• Travel is a requirement for this position; must have access to a vehicle.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement therapy programs to promote functional independence and optimal health outcomes.
• Provide consultation, education, and support to clients and their caregivers.
• Prescribe and recommend appropriate equipment to enhance daily living.
• Participate in program planning, quality assurance initiatives, research, and departmental meetings.
• Offer guidance and work direction to rehabilitation assistants regarding transfer of function.
