A leading non-profit organization in Winnipeg seeks a Nurse Consultant to provide nursing consultation and support clinical care management for individuals. Candidates must have a Registered Nurse Baccalaureate Degree, with a minimum of 5 years of clinical experience, including working with diverse individuals. The role requires effective communication and teamwork, in addition to expertise in health education and crisis intervention. Reporting to the Manager of Community Nursing Services, the Nurse Consultant provides nursing consultation to people across the age continuum referred to St.Amant Nursing services when appropriate. The Nurse Consultant plays an active role in health education and in the assignment or delegation of tasks to unregulated care providers. The Nurse Consultant identifies ways to improve health care services for the people supported by the program. Nursing Consultative services are designed to support the care teams at each site or in a specific community.
Clinical Care Management:
Consistent with the Mission and Philosophy of the St.Amant, the Nurse Consultant is responsible for overseeing the provision of services within their area of clinical practice and ensuring adherence to St.Amant and Program policies and the requirements of their professional regulatory body.
