Community Manager

Residential Real Estate

Full-Time, Permanent

Edmonton, Alberta

Our client, a large and leading property management company in Canada, are seeking a Community Manager to join their growing team! You will be reporting into the Regional Director and overseeing a large portfolio of both condominium and rental units across up to 10 diverse properties within Edmonton and surrounding areas. The successful candidate will be RECA Licensed (Condominium) or able to obtain license within probation period, with excellent customer service and communication skills who have a positive, adaptable, growth mindset along with a passion for residential real estate. We are looking for loyal employees who match the company values of integrity, responsiveness and service‑first approaches. This is a 100% in‑office role with regular travel to sites.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
  • Professionally manage a real estate portfolio comprised of various asset classes.
  • Regular site inspections of real estate portfolio and assessment of issues within buildings and specific units.
  • Inputting of data into CRM system and ensuring the quality of the information in the system.
  • Coordinating maintenance requests and repairs.
  • Production of annual operating budgets and review of monthly financial statements.
  • Engage in business development efforts.
  • Attend and assist with Board meetings.
  • Address client concerns.
  • Liaise with the Boards of Directors for each property.
  • Schedule and maintain projects as per a company‑wide maintenance schedule for all properties.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience within residential property management, ideally with exposure to condominium assets
  • RECA Condominium License required – or able to obtain within probation period
  • Post‑Secondary education in business, real estate, economics, or related
  • ARM designation preferred but not required
  • Excellent written, oral communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Project management experience is a benefit.
  • Professional demeanor.
  • Ability to anticipate and understand client needs and build upon relationships, as well as a willingness to retain existing clients by providing exceptional customer service.
  • Strong team player with positive attitude.
  • Good organizational and planning skills.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Power Point).
  • Enthusiasm and passion to excel and help manage the growth of the firm.
  • Ability and willingness to work some early mornings, evenings, or weekend days as required.
  • Ability to pass a criminal record check
Compensation

The successful candidate will receive an annual base salary between $70,000-$80,000 dependent on experience + comprehensive benefit package. This company also offers lots of room for career growth!
