Overview

We are looking for a qualified Community Manager to join our online company. If you are a tech-savvy professional, experienced in social media, PR and promotional events, we would like to meet you in person. Our ideal candidate has exceptional oral and written communication skills and can develop engaging content. You should be a ‘people person’ with great customer service skills and the ability to moderate online and offline conversations with our community and ultimately, you should be able to act as the face and voice of our online company and manage all community communications. The qualified recruited candidate will go through about a month worth of job training and have tests for each module of the training to make sure they completely learnt the content and do a final exam to graduate from the training and then receive a certificate to move onto the actual virtual and non-virtual workplace environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide engaging text, image and video content for the online community
  • Respond to comments and customer queries in a timely manner
  • Able to interpret applied strategies and competencies for community growth and management
  • Monitor and report on feedback and online reviews
  • Organize and participate in local events to build community and boost brand awareness
  • Build relationships with customers, potential customers, industry professionals and journalists through LinkedIn
  • Stay up to date with digital technology trends
  • Posting at least once every week on our online community feed in Mighty Networks
  • Providing engaging text, image and video content for the community
  • Responding to comments and customer queries in a timely manner
Requirements and skills
  • Proven work experience as an online community manager
  • Experience launching community initiatives (e.g., building an online forum, launching an ambassador program, creating an event series and writing a monthly email newsletter)
  • Ability to identify and track relevant community metrics (e.g., repeat attendance at events)
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Hands on experience with social media management for online companies like ours
  • Ability to interpret website traffic and online customer engagement metrics
  • Knowledge of online and offline marketing and marketing channels
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Diploma or certificate in Marketing or relevant field
