A healthcare organization serving First Nations is looking for a Community Health Nurse. This role includes providing primary care, public health, and emergency services to First Nations individuals and communities. Ideal candidates will hold a nursing degree, be registered with the BCCNM, and understand First Nations cultural principles. Title: Community Health Nurse - Nursing Station
Salary: $94,724 – $114,261 per year (pay range explained below)
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Part-time – 37.5 hours per week, we offer 2, 3, and 4 week rotations
Location: Tsay Keh Dene
Bargaining Unit: PIPSC BCFNHA Group (Professional Institute of the Public Service of Canada)
As the Community Health Nurse, you will work in an expanded scope of practice to provide primary care, public health, health promotion, and emergency care for First Nations individuals, families, and communities, including after hours on-call care. You will work independently and as a member of an interdisciplinary team.

FNHA Community Health Nurse, have or are working towards Remote Certification (RNC) and can live anywhere in Canada. If you are currently not Remote Certified, speak with us today on how we can help you obtain your RNC, with extensive training, travel and salary paid for while you’re pursuing your certification.

The Pay Range is the minimum (Step 1) and maximum (highest Step) annual base salary based on full time equivalent hours. Internal employee compensation will be determined as per the FNHA Employee Total Compensation Policy.
