A leading health organization in Canada is looking for a Community Health Nurse to provide essential health services in remote First Nations communities. Candidates should hold a Bachelor’s degree in nursing and current BCCNM registration, with certifications in ACLS and PALS. Title: Community Health Nurse – Tahltan Nursing Station
Salary: $94,724 – $114,261 per year (pay range explained below)
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Part-time – 37.5 hours per week, 2-, 3-, and 4-week rotations
Location: Tahltan, B.C. – Nursing Station
Bargaining Unit: PIPSC BCFNHA Group (Professional Institute of the Public Service of Canada)
As Community Health Nurse, you will provide a comprehensive range of core nursing functions and services in remote First Nations communities in program areas of community and public health, primary care, and urgent and emergent care. This includes health promotion and disease and injury prevention for individuals, families, groups, communities, and populations.

BC Remote Certification
FNHA Community Health Nurse, have or are working towards Remote Certification (RNC) and can live anywhere in Canada. If you are currently not Remote Certified, speak with us today on how we can help you obtain your RNC, with extensive training, travel and salary paid for while you’re pursuing your certification.
