Bayshore Medical Personnel is seeking a full-time Community Health Registered Nurse to join the team! The successful Community Health Registered Nurse will provide service to our client in areas including immunization, disease and injury prevention, health surveillance, protection and promotion, infection control, and emergency preparedness and response.

This is a great opportunity for a Community Health Registered Nurse looking for Monday - Friday day shifts only and who is ready for an exciting challenge working with an extremely unique and rewarding patient population!

Our Community Health Registered Nurses work as a member of a multidisciplinary primary health care team in a primary care/clinic setting. Work includes individual or group appointments, public health/immunization campaigns, and individual or group health education sessions within or outside the health services facility.

Qualifications

The successful candidate must have three (3) full-time equivalent years of clinical experience within the last five (5) years in nursing practice, including a mandatory comprehensive experience with immunization procedures/protocols. Strong IPAC and immunization skills are required.

Candidates Must Also Have
  • Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing from a recognized university
  • Registered Nurse license from the provincial or territorial professional college or association in the province of practice
  • Previous immunization experience in the full vaccination schedule
  • Certificate of Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider or equivalent such as CPR / AED Level C.
Other Certifications (facilitated By Bayshore During Onboarding)
  • Current N95 mask fit certificate CSA Standards Z94.4 (within the last two (2) years)
  • Workplace Hazardous Material Information System (WHMIS) Certification (within the last two (2) years)
