Job summary

Catholic Social Services is seeking a part-time Community Disability Worker in Edmonton, AB. This contract position runs 36 hours per week with a schedule Mon-Tue 7-3, Wed-Thu 2-9, Fri 7-1 and ends Nov 30, 2027.

Responsibilities include assessing client needs, supporting behavior plans, coordinating transportation and appointments, assisting with daily living tasks, and maintaining safety and documentation within the Diego House team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• NVCI training must be completed upon hire.
• Vulnerable Sector Check RCMP/City Police is required.
• Child Intervention Record Check is required.

Responsibilities

• Assess needs of individuals and monitor changes in behavior and health.
• Assist with implementing Behavior Support Plans for individuals.
• Provide transportation, schedule appointments and attend as needed.
• Follow ISP for individuals living in the home.
• Perform medication administration as directed.
• Ensure safety and respond to emergencies.
• Maintain the home and equipment per agency standards.
• Complete logs, incident reports and documentation.
