Job summary

The Robin Hood Association in Fort Saskatchewan is seeking a Community Disability Practitioner to support individuals with developmental and physical disabilities through employment services. You will promote safety, conduct assessments, and help individuals prepare resumes and practice interviews.

Responsibilities include developing individualized service plans, identifying community work placements, coordinating transportation, and maintaining accurate records in line with CET and Alberta

Qualifications

• Rehabilitation diploma or related university degree preferred.
• Foundations in Community Rehabilitation and Disabilities Studies.
• Mandatory Training Courses completed as required.
• Valid Alberta Driver’s License, access to reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to RHA Policies and CET accreditation.
• Promote safe environments by reporting hazards.
• Collaborate effectively in a team-oriented setting.
• Develop community work placements and advocate for skills.
• Assist individuals with resumes and job interviews.
• Support development of basic living and social skills.
• Provide transportation to individuals as needed.
• Maintain accurate records and required reporting.
