OVERVIEW

We are seeking a detail-oriented and execution-focused Communications Coordinator to support day-to-day internal communications for the Treasury & Payment Solutions organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for drafting clear, concise updates, assembling weekly news digests, and managing recurring content across partner teams and enterprise channels.

This role is ideal for a highly organized communications professional who thrives in structured environments, works confidently with templates, and consistently delivers polished, brand-aligned content. The position requires strong writing, formatting discipline, and the ability to manage multiple small tasks with accuracy and speed.

Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid – 2 days in office)

Contract Length: 2 years (January 26, 2026 – January 25, 2028)

Hours: 9 AM–5 PM EST

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Draft clear and concise internal communications using established templates.
  • Build weekly news digests, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and consistent formatting.
  • Compile and prepare content for partner team newsletters and enterprise channels.
  • Execute annual and cyclical updates to recurring communications assets.
  • Perform light editing, proofreading, and quality checks for tone, grammar, and readability.
  • Ensure all content adheres to brand standards, voice guidelines, and formatting requirements.
  • Maintain organized content repositories across shared drives and shared team spaces.
  • Collaborate with internal partners to gather information and clarify message requirements.
  • Manage multiple small requests simultaneously while maintaining high execution standards.
  • Support communications planning by tracking deliverables and recurring deadlines.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of templates, processes, and content workflows.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • 1–3 years (maximum 4) of experience in corporate communications, marketing, editorial, journalism, or a related writing-focused field.
  • Strong writing skills with proven ability to follow tone and voice guidelines.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, grammar, accuracy, and formatting.
  • Experience working with templates, content repositories, and structured workflows.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a steady volume of tasks with consistency and minimal rework.
  • Proficiency with standard office tools (Microsoft Office, shared drives, intranet publishing tools).
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Preferred
  • Experience writing for B2B audiences.
  • Exposure to financial services or similarly regulated environments.
Education

Post‑secondary degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, English, Public Relations, or a related discipline.
