Job summary

A leading global energy firm is seeking a Commissioning / Installation Engineer with an industrial equipment background. The ideal candidate will supervise installation contractors and perform service work as needed. Applicants should hold an electrical and/or mechanical qualification with strong knowledge in systems and instrumentation. This role involves frequent travel within the UK and may require extended periods abroad.

Qualifications

• Electrical and/or Mechanical qualification C&G or equivalent.
• Understand electrical schematics.
• Familiarity with pneumatic, water, hydraulic & electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervise installation contractors during equipment installation.
• Take equipment through site acceptance tests.
• Perform service work occasionally.

Skills

Electrical and/or Mechanical qualification

Understanding electrical schematics

Fault finding and regular maintenance

Familiarity with pneumatic and hydraulic systems

Working knowledge of temperature control instrumentation

Education

C&G or equivalent
