Our client provide services to the UKs Energy Network, due to new projects they are looking to recruit Commissioning Engineers, details as follows:
This role will be required to be based in Hertfordshire 4 days a week
This role will be within our Distribution and connections division. As one of the largest Independent Connection Providers (ICP's) in the UK, we support distribution network operations across infrastructure.
Our team installs and maintains distribution networks and ensures reliable connections for customers. carrying out electrical planned work, customer connections and network reinforcement.
You'll be part of our substation build team working on UKPN's 11kV, 33kV & 132kV Distribution Network on projects across the East of England.
Your role will be to Test and Commission High Voltage Plant and apparatus onto the live distribution network integrating with existing protection schemes.
We're looking for a skilled professional to join our clients team and provide technical support for their projects.
You'll attend client meetings, encourage innovation, and resolve design issues on site.
Your role includes producing commissioning plans, testing and commissioning high voltage plant and apparatus, and ensuring compliance with current legislation.
You’ll also review and correct drawings, manage people safely, and mentor team members to enhance their technical knowledge.
