Job summary

Gate Gourmet is the world’s largest independent provider of catering and provisioning services for the airline industry. The Commissary Assembler assembles trolleys for flights, reviewing flight bills and preparing items as required. Shifts cover mornings, afternoons, nights, weekdays, weekends and holidays, with the potential for overtime.

CAD 16.00 hourly. Employees may undergo temperature changes and must be able to lift up to 50 pounds; duties include working in a dynamic commissary

Qualifications

• Must have excellent attention to detail.
• Must be able to multitask.
• May be required to maintain a customs seal at certain locations.
• Must be able to interact with customers in a professional manner.

Responsibilities

• Review flight bills to determine required items for each flight.
• Assemble commissary trolleys according to flight type and size.
• Stage trolleys by flight number and add headsets, hampers and satchels as requested.
• Push fully assembled flights into the cold room and mark the flight complete on the board.
