Job Overview

The Cash Applications Clerk works in collaboration with the supervisor and Senior Analyst to ensure that payments received from customers are correctly applied, take steps when information is missing, and maintain customer relations and the company’s image.

Responsibilities
  • Apply electronic payments using bank statements and match them with payment notices received directly from clients.
  • Apply cheque and credit card payments.
  • Search for and analyze missing information in payment applications.
  • Analyze and prepare the daily list of unapplied EFTs.
  • Analyze and prepare month‑end files (KPIs).
  • Analyze and process special deductions and deposits.
  • Encourage clients to use electronic payments.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Document all Cash App processes.
  • Enforce business rules regarding credit application and refund requests.
  • Manage generic email accounts.
Qualifications
  • Bilingual (French & English, written & spoken).
  • College diploma or equivalent.
  • 1‑2 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • High‑precision data entry.
  • Independent, motivated, and results‑oriented.

Compensation

CAD $57,100.00 – $63,800.00 annually.
