Qualifications

• Proven experience working as a Chef or display a real passion for food.
• Knowledge of some cooking techniques and cuisines.
• Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Works according to the BaxterStorey core values.

Responsibilities

• Food Preparation – prepare and cook breakfast and Light Lunch dishes according to recipes and standards; ensure food safety standards are adhered to at all times.
• Station Management – oversee production of all food items at your station and maintain your area with supplies and cleanliness in line with policies.
• Quality Control – maintain high quality standards for all food handled, considering presentation and taste.
• Team Collaboration – communicate effectively with all other team members and support colleagues where necessary.
• Cleaning and Maintenance – keep the kitchen clean and organized, ensure equipment is in good working order.
