Position Overview

The Commercial Large Loss Project Supervisor is the on-site leader and primary point of contact for field crews on large-scale commercial restoration projects. This role ensures that all work is executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project scope, budget, and schedule. Working closely with Project Managers and Project Coordinators, the Supervisor inspects job sites, oversees daily operations, ensures tasks are completed as requested by the Coordinator, and supports accurate documentation. The Supervisor plays a critical role in maintaining quality, compliance, and client satisfaction, while being actively engaged with the team on the floor.


What You’ll Do


  • Supervise and coordinate on-site crews, subcontractors, and daily activities.

  • Serve as the main on-site contact for clients, property managers, and insurance representatives.

  • Partner with Project Managers and Coordinators to plan and execute job phases, including mobilization, demolition, remediation, and reconstruction.

  • Conduct daily site inspections, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.

  • Manage timekeeping, materials, equipment, and cost control on-site.

  • Resolve on-site challenges, document scope changes, and escalate issues when necessary.

  • Maintain strong relationships through professional communication and responsiveness.

  • Support project closeout, reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.


What You Bring


  • High School Diploma/GED required; post-secondary education in construction/restoration preferred.

  • IICRC certification required.

  • Strong knowledge of restoration practices, including mitigation, drying, remediation, and fire/structural recovery.

  • Proven ability to manage crews, subcontractors, and multiple job sites.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace; experience with Xactimate, XactAnalysis, and DocuSphere is an asset.

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

  • Willingness to travel regionally or nationally for extended periods.

  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.


Working Conditions


  • Due to the nature of our business, this position will work normal business hours but may be required to work in the evenings, on-call, or outside normal working hours;

  • Perform tasks requiring mobility in tight or confined spaces, sustained physical activity (standing, lifting, walking, bending, kneeling), and working at heights over 5 feet as needed;

  • Manual dexterity for keyboarding, repetitive tasks, and prolonged periods of computer use, demanding attention to detail and high levels of accuracy; and

  • Periodic travel may be required.
