First Onsite Restoration is seeking a Commercial Superintendent to lead field operations for commercial reconstruction and contracting projects. You will oversee crews and subcontractors to ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery while coordinating with project managers and clients.

This role requires strong leadership, effective communication, and a commitment to safety and craftsmanship. You will monitor progress, perform inspections, and maintain thorough documentation, taking ownership

Formación

• 2+ years of commercial construction or restoration field supervision experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education is an asset.
• Knowledge of commercial building codes, safety regulations and inspections.
• Ability to organize, schedule and direct multiple crews and subs.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving with teamwork focus.
• Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with project management tools/mobile apps.
• IICRC certifications or equivalent asset; provincial asbestos certability required.
• Valid driver's license and clean abstract; rotating on-call availability.
• Willingness to travel for CAT assignments.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A COMMERCIAL SUPERINTENDENT

As a Commercial Superintendent, you bring structure, leadership, and accountability to every job site. You coordinate crews, subcontractors, and resources to ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget while maintaining the highest standards of safety and craftsmanship. Each day, you monitor progress, conduct inspections, and collaborate closely with project managers, clients, and adjusters to resolve challenges and keep communication clear. You take ownership of your sites, ensuring quality work, well-documented progress, and a culture of safety and teamwork. Your ability to lead by example and problem-solve in real time helps deliver successful projects and build long-term client trust.

Qualifications

• 2 + years of COMMERCIAL construction or restoration experience with a strong background in site supervision or field management
• High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in construction or related field an asset
• Knowledge of commercial building codes, safety regulations, and inspection requirements
• Proven ability to organize, schedule, and direct multiple crews and subcontractors
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills with a focus on teamwork and accountability
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and familiarity with project management software and mobile applications
• IICRC certifications or equivalent an asset; ability to obtain provincial asbestos certification required
• Valid driver's license and clean driving abstract
• Must be able to participate in a rotating on-call schedule
• Ability to complete work activities that may involve material handling, lifting, climbing, and the use of personal protective equipment including respirators, safety footwear, and other required gear
• Ability to travel for extended periods for CAT assignments
