Responsibilities for a Commercial Security Shift Supervisor
- Review all submitted team incident reports for quality assurance.
- Liaise with client, contractors, tenants, emergency services.
- Review and export CCTV footage using digital CCTV systems.
- Providing excellent customer service to various tenants.
- Provide first aid and basic life safety in an emergency situation.
- Must be able to cover a guard's shift as needed.
- Coordinating day-to-day operations to the site supervisor.
- Responsible for ensuring that security licenses are up to date for bullpen staff.
- Assisting the Field supervisor in tracking various training matrices for guards and the team leads.
- Maintaining Training Matrix and performing other responsibilities as per assigned by the client.
Qualifications for Commercial Security Shift Supervisor
- 1 to 3 years experience in security supervisor experience
- Excellent oral and written interpersonal skills (English an asset)
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Valid Alberta Security license and first aid card
- Must be able to work 4/4 - 2 12 hour day shifts & 2 12 hour night rotational shift
- Demonstrated ability to follow operational security measures, protect confidential information, and exercise good judgment and discretion
- Demonstrated comprehension of the Canadian Criminal Code and Trespass to Property Act powers of arrest
- Be eligible to work in Canada
- Must have strong customer service skills, mature attitude and professionalism
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment
- Leadership and mentorship skills
- Able to work in a team environment or independently as required
